Nope, stress is not only mental. In fact, numerous studies have reported that stress accounts for vast array of pain and aches all over the body. Basically, stress tightens and knots your muscles which causes the discs in your back to bulge which results into chronic back pains. Also, headaches commonly stems from stress. However, these pains are easily avoidable if you manage your stress effectively by indulging in meditation, yoga and numerous relaxing exercises.
