According to the American Medical Association, 78% of doctor visits can be handled over the phone. Here at DocChat, we provide real-time video consultations with licensed physicians 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
How DocChat Video Consultations Work
Create a DocChat Account. This takes about 2 minutes and requires information such as name, email, and password.
When you are ready to make a call, you will be asked several questions including date of birth, phone number, gender and zip code
Press the call doctor button
Input your symptoms
Add payment info
Allow audio/video access to ensure the connection will be successful.
A physician who is licensed in your state will answer your call in 10 minutes or less. If the call is not answered within 10 minutes, it is automatically free.
The doctor will then be able to request further review on your case, provide you with a diagnosis and a prescription if necessary. (There is no time limit on video consultations, so you will be able to exchange any questions, concerns, or important information with your physician at your pace. )
After the consultation concludes, you will be required to rate your physician and the app experience.
You can ask your attending physician unlimited follow-up questions for up to 7 days after your initial consultation via our DocChat in-app messaging system.
